Car Stereos: stereo, chevy blazer, two radios

Question
hey well i have a 94 chevy blazer and i had just bought a new head unit. i already have a 10 disc cd changer instaled by prev owner and was tired of always goin ot the back and puting in a cd. not sure either if i need to unplug anthing from this to put in my new head unit. well as i was tryin to take the stock unit out i had to cut the wires and surprisingly to me the radio still played as i was tring to put the wires to were the new radio was located some wires touched and the radio cut off not sure what i did.even after reattaching the wires to the unit the radio wont turn on. i looked to see if i blew a fuse but couldnt find one...do you think i messed up the CDM box..will i still be able to use my radio with the new head unit?...any help is appreciate...thanks

Answer
Hey David

I don't think I'm quite clear on what's happening here.  Are you installing two radios?  What wires did you cut, to the radio or to the changer?  Why'd you cut them?  99% of the time if the radio doesn't work it's wired wrong.  Give me a more detailed explanation of what you're trying to do, I don't think I understand.

Thanks

Dave
