Car Upholstery: 68 IMPALA BUCKET SEAT, 68 impala, silicone spray

Question
HI MARK, IAM HAVING A PROBLEM LINING UP THE SEAT BACK COVERS ON MY SEAT BACKS FOR MY 68 IMPALA BUCKET SEAT. I HAVE NEW VINYL FROM YEAR ONE WHICH FIT FINE ON THE SEAT BOTTOMS BUT WHEN I AM DOING THE SEAT BACK, I CAN'T SEEM TO GET THE ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE RIGHT. I ALSO HAVE NEW SEAT BUNS. WHEN I GET THE VINYL ATTACHED TO THE BUN, IHAVE TO INSTALL A WIRE WHICH RUNS THROUGH THE BACK OF THE BUN WHIHCH MAKES THE SEAT TUCK IN.WHEN DO I DO THIS? WHILE THE BUN IS ON THE SPRINGS AND MAKE ONE PASS THROUGH ALL THE PARTS(VINYL,BUN,WIRE,AND SPRING)OR DO I DO IT SEPARATELY?THERE SEEMS TO BE ALACK OF ADJUSTMENT AS I HAVE TRYED TO DO IT BOYH WAYS ALREADY AND I KEEP GETTING A LOT OF MATERIAL ON EITHER THE TOP OF THE SEAT WHERE I CAN'T STRETH IT SMOOTH,OR THERES NOT ENOUGH ON THE BOTTOM TO TUCK THE SIDE PANELS IN CORRECTLY.ANY IDEAS?

Answer
Install the foam on the springs. Spray foam and the inside of the cover with silicone spray. Start at the top with the cover inside out. Center the cover and roll the cover into place. Put in the inside back wires. Hogring from the top down. Install the lower wires and close the bottom. If this is vinyl, a warm, sunny day will help. Mark.
