Auto Racing: is there any restriction in wrc not to do an event in the middle east, rally raid, world rally

i always follow all wrc events , still i have never seen a stage of this huge event going on in the middle east , i have heard that lebanon might have some great tracks , so what is going on ?

no... their is no ristriction to a "middle east WRC round" whatsoever.

i guess that happened because of the nature of the middle east  - which is desert - so it is not that sutable for the WRC.

it is more sutable for the rally raid and the Pheros rally held in egypt was a round of the world rally raid championship back in the early 90s... also the Emarats rally was part of the championship as i recall.

so basicly it is not rules... it is just the nature of the region.
