Auto Racing: The banners that say Orange, mobile phone networks, race signals

Hi,
I am to a F1 fan. Matter of fact going to the indy nexted week. Our first one in real life. Being from North Carolina my husband and I have to get up pretty early to watch the practices and races ect. But enjoy it. Ok enough about us, here is my question. What does the signs around the track that just say Orange and are orange mean.  Have looked it up and ran out of thoughts.

Dear Debra,
Orange is a huge private company, provider of mobile phones and mobile phone networks in Europe and beyond. They sponsor all sorts of activities and I think this includes F1. Is this what you meant (i.e. placards and advertising around the track rather than actual flags or race signals?)
