BMW Repair: 2002 325 ci, starter fluid, fuel pressure

will not start when cold. i dont hear the fuel pump running. once after cycling the key numerous times it starts and is fine the rest of the day

Chris, my only advise is that if you think it is fuel missing, get a fuel pressure reading when happening. Also you can squirt a touch of starter fluid or brake cleaner in the intake manifold or ducting and start. If the car starts or sputters then you are missing fuel and have narrowed your diagnosis to the fuel system. Fuel pressure needs to be 3.5Bar or 45-55Psi.
