BMW Repair: BMW 740il stalls frequently, 1993 bmw 740il, fuel delivery system

Hello:  I have a 1993 BMW 740il.  After driving for about 30 minutes the cars begins to die.  I stop to the side, turn the car off, wait for 10-15 minutes, turn on the car again and it runs perfect.  This is a repeated pattern and, as you can imagine, very annoying.  Any suggestions?

I would be inclined to check for any blockages in the fuel delivery system, when was the fuel filter last replaced?   check out the fuel pressure regulator, you might need to see a specialist who can check the fuel pressure is correct.
If you have had any electronic parts replaced recently, Then try disconnecting the main ECU for at least ten seconds to reset any fault codes. Early 7 Series suffered from vapour lock on the fuel system, this was cured by installing some heat insulation under the inlet manifold.

It does sound more of a fuel issue rather than an electrical one, so do a bit of investigation in that area.
