BMW Repair: warning lites?, coolant level, two circles

Question
I have a 1994 bmw 325 and I get a warning message when the car starts saying check coolant level, I do and its fine and then the warning message goes away...any ideas on what it all means?
also, a red warning lite is on as well on my dash with a circle, actually two circles I think, one broken and one not, on it. I am getting a new manual but can you tell me what this warning lite is for in the meantime?

Hi shawn, the warning message you are getting for low collant could be a sensor or something going bad, faulty wiring or a number of things.  If you check your coolant and it is full then make sure when you drive it it is not over heating.  the light on your dash.  Tell me what it looks like because from what you are saying it sounds like it might be your breaks are low and the warning light is comming on to notify you of that and let you know it's time to change them.
