GMC Repair: 1999 Yukon doesnt always start., positive cable, battery connectors

Question
I have a '99 Yukon that will start sometimes, other times, it will click but not even attempt to turn over. I removed the starter and had it checked and it is fine.

Answer
Hi
I would check the battery, battery connectors, terminals, and battery bolts.
Make sure all the connections are CLEAN and TIGHT.
The connection for the positive cable on the starter TIGHT.
The ground cable hooked to the engine block CLEAN and TIGHT.
Take the battery to a GOOD auto electrical facility, and have the battery load tested. (should be a free or very inexpensive service offered)
Check all these items.
I hope this helps.
