GMC Repair: 1988 gmc jimmy blazer, gmc jimmy blazer, gmc jimmy

i was driving my jimmy the other day on the hiway and everything turned off i completely loss power except for the headlights for about 5 sec then the lights on the dash and radio came back on so did the car so i kept driving and about 10 min later the same thing happen again it came back on i thought maybe a wire came lose or something so i stoped at a gas station to check and the car turned off and i turned the key and nothing at all not even the check engine northing so i popped the hood and i noticed my headlights were still nice and bright i pushed the car about 5 feet and gave it another try and it started right up it drove for a while and again this time it wouldnt turn back on my dad told me to try cleaning the cables maybe i had a bad connection it ran again for about 2 blocks and died again and hasnt started since the lights are the only thing that turn on i cant roll up the windows since the are electic the radio or the dash lights come on at all HELP my brother and my friend are wanting to try to fix it but they are very mecanical please help

this could be a bad compuiter of a fusbiale link .
You should have a good shop check the fusbiale links and check the ground wire that comes off the battery sometimes they can get damadge and do the same thing.
