GMC Repair: 2000 jimmy fuel pump, fuel gauge, body harness

well i have a v6 jimmy and the fuel pump does not turn on when i turn key to on or start also the fuel gauge does not show any fuel or movement when the key is tuned on. this problem started after a carwash and oil change the day before my vacation,i had to used my outher car.

 If both failed to work after a car wash,this maybe a long shot but check the connector at the left side of the frame under the vehicle near the fuel tank,also near the back bumper there is a connector that is part of the body harness this is the jumper that connects the fuel pump and sender harness from the top of tank to the body harness,if you still have the same problem and all the underbody harness and connectors are ok contact me and ill help you in diagnosing.Thanks
