Alfa Romeo Repair: fuel injection pump, fuel injection pump, syder

was wanting to know how to time fuel injection pump, belt broke.

Answer
Bring engine to tdc of cylinder #1 with both valves open (look
through spark plug hole to check. then back past the I mark and then forward to the I mark.(tdc is the P mark)

Now, align the reference mark on the pump pulley with the pointer on the pump body and install the belt. It is ok to be
a half tooth off after the belt is on.
