Alfa Romeo Repair: Alfa Romeo spiders, alfa romeo spider, alfa romeo spiders

I am 6` 4" and the only Alfa spider I ever drove practically required the jaws of life to extract me from it after the test drive. I think it was a `76 Alfa Spider. Nice car but repainted from the original silver. Is there any hope for me finding an Alfa Romeo spider that I can fit into? Just for specifics, I buy 36" length jeans. Is it true the Duetto has more legroom?

I don't know that the Duetto has more leg room but the newer cars have a package tray that does interfere some with your legs.  I'm 6'2" and I don't fit either.  Italians have long arms and short legs.  In my GTV6 coupe, the seat will go back far enough for my legs, but then I can't reach the steering wheel. :)

Your best bet is to find a car you like and then remove the package tray if it has one and have someone (or do it yourself) move the seat rails back some to give you more leg room.  I did this and then found an aftermarket steering wheel with a deeper dish so I could steer while I was sitting back and enjoying the ride.
