I have sony 46" Bravia model KDL46WL140 and sony DAV-HDX275 surround sound I have sony wireless headphones is there a way to hook these up so that I can listen to headphones without mutting the sound for everyone else watching the tv? If so please advise By the way my tv does not have the normal headphone jack

It is possible. The main issue is finding an unused audio output that will send the TVs audio. I looked at the specs on the home theatre system and it doesn't appear to have any additional outputs. If you are using the TV audio outputs you can split them with a Y connector and plug your second set into the headphones base. What type of connections do the headphones have?
