Audio Systems: location of amp in 2005 nissan armada, channel amp, nissan armada

I am installing a dvd player in my armada but I need to  locate the factory amp in order to connect the harness.

Answer
Is it the Bose system? If so, the amps are (in some models) actually mounted inside the speaker housing. Each speaker has its own amplifier.

Otherwise, you may have to trace the wiring back to where the multi-channel amp(s) is located.  Sometimes under the seats, sometimes under the cowlings in the back trunk space area.

I believe Nissan had 3 or 4 implementations, depending on the model and options included.

Try going to www.crutchfield.com and do their run down on your model and see if they don't have it for your specific automobile:
