Audio Systems: ALPINE CAR C.D.PLAYER, cable converters, alpine head unit

Question
I HAVE A YEAR OLD ALPINE HEAD UNIT IN MY CAR.IT WORKED FINE TILL TODAY.WHEN I TRY TO PLAY ANY C.D THE WORD ERROR COMES UP AND I CANT PLAY MY C.D'S.HOW CAN I FIX THIS PROBLEM?

Answer
I am assuming all other functions are working fine?

Repair costs on cd players are often more expensive than a replacement.  Many are, when the cd player fails, going with iPod or mp3 players and forgetting about the cd player.

If your unit does not have an iPod or mp3 input you can add one easily by going to www.installer.com and searching through the many options for such items.  Click on iPOD at the top of that page and scan down to the Alpine cable converters.

Good luck,
