Audio Systems: Legacy LDNTV65U mobile tv, warranty repair, cold temperatures

IS this the unit or my wiring.
I bought this cheap 300 dollar mobile tv for my GMC 2004 seirra with on star and base amp. bought the expensive wiring harness that cost 150 dollars. wire the unit up it works until i let the truck sit for about 2 hours and its cold outside. try to cut the unit on and it won't work unless i unplug the unit take it in the house let it get room temp then plug it back up then it works again until the next cut off and sit...

Probably the unit is defective.  Something inside does not like cold temperatures.  How cold is it where you are?  If you live in Alaska or North Dakota it may be a normal occurrence!

If still under factory warranty, get it into a warranty repair place.

If out of warranty, and you are adventurous, you can remove the cover so you can see the electronics; get a hair dryer and blow warm air in a few places in an attempt to find out which/what is the temperature sensitive culprit. You may be able to fix it easily.....
