Audio Systems: Car Audio Question, jl audio 10w6v2, ford explorer sport trac

Question
Hello Mark,
I'm not sure if you remember me but you were helping me with my system I was building.  Well with work being busy I haven't had much time but i am just about finished that speaker box you helped me with for my Ford Explorer Sport Trac, after all said and done I have almost .78 cubic air space and I will add a little of the stuffing to make the speaker think there is more space like you suggested.  I do have my Infinity References powered by my Clif Design so that is taken care of.  I am still a little undecided about the sub still.  I'm really unsure of what I should go with and was looking for your valuable opinion.  I am unsure about going with the Rockford Fosgate Power T110D2 (http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14217) or T110D4 (http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14218) or the JL Audio 10w6v2 (http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=12513).  I really only have room for one 10 inch sub and thats it.  If you really don't like either of these and you have a better preference please do tell. I figured since I am doing just one sub a 2 ohm sub would be just fine.  Also any ideas on an amp to push it, you did send me an email before about amps but they were to push 2 speakers and I would only be pushing one 10 such as Boss (http://www.cardomain.com/item/BOSGT2500D) and Power (http://www.cardomain.com/item/POWOV21600) and Powerhttp://www.cardomain.com/item/POWA2400DB).  I do understand all about the RMS now that you have explained it to me previously but I was just wondering what is the best combination.  I have great sound already with the Infinity's and looking for some good bass to balance it out.  Most people tell me the Rockford is good for SPL and the JL good for SQ.  I listened to both at a store but I think the enclosure they have them in doesn't really give me an idea of what it will sound like in my sealed box.  Thank you again for you help.

Answer
well the 2 fosgate subs you have listed are esentially the same sub they just are different ohms to match the amp you'd get.  they're pretty comparable subs, it's kinda up to you,  JL does make a great sounding sub so if you've got the extra 40 bucks go for it.
the amp I'd recomend to run this sub in a bang for the buck recomendation is this one:

wire the coils in series to get an 8 ohm mono load which this amp is rated to give 440 watts.  these cheaper amps are usually a little overrated so if you want to go a size up you could get this one:

http://www.cardomain.com/item/POWOV21800

which is rated for 600 watts at 8 ohm mono but like I said, they're a little overrated.
