Audio Systems: CD player, toyota landcruiser, correct angle

I have a 1978 FJ 40 Toyota Landcruiser and I want to put a CD player in the locking center console but, the player has to be mounted in the verticle position. What player (s) can be mounted in this fashion?

The CD is drawn into the slot by a kinda roller thingy and when in position the centre is clamped up onto the motor and read head, the mech is much the same as in a PC so they work anyway up. The exception is CD Changers where the mech'. is suspended and needs to be at the correct angle for the springs/dampers to work.
Fitted on into an older Citreon GSA and that sits upright in the centre too.
