QuestionI am looking for a system where you can use your own am/fm headphone/walkman to hear television audio. I used this at a gym once...you could set any walkman to a certain radio station to hear the audio from the tv. I haven't been able to find it. Using wireless headphones is an option, but my husband wants to use for running and the headphones are not athletic type. Thanks!
Answersounds like a neat project. the only factor here may be the distance from the runner to the piece of equipment broadcasting. you can try something like this:

its basically an FM broadcaster that plugs into a cig lighter and has a connector for the signal that goes into it to be broadcasted.
Unfortunatly it's for car audio not home which means 2 things. one is that you're going to need an indoor cig lighter like this one to power it:

Then the other problem might be the range since the thing is made for a car where the antena is for the stereo is very close by the cig lighter (about 6 feet or so)
Although in a car the antenna is outside the car and this unit is inside, and in the house both the unit and the walkman picking it up would be in the same air space, it it might work very well. even if it works perfectly you're look at 100 bucks for the power supply and unit together.
