Question
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND MY CD PLAYER JUST SHUT OFF AND NOW IT WONT TURN ON  AND WHEN YOU REMOVE THE FACE PLATE THERE IS A RED LIGHT THAT BLINKS AND WHEN YOU TRY TO RESET IT IT SOUNDS LIKE ITS TRING TO EJECT A CD IS MY STEREO BLOWN?

Answer
Hi Amanda,
The fact you have the red light blinking means you have perm 12v live to the set as this a normal feature of the set, kinda deterrent, "don't bother my face plate is missing" message.
From what you have written it looks like a lose of 12v ACC power which is the one that switches the set on and off with the ignition so I would check for a fuse blown, either inline behind the set or in the fuse board.
Have a look and let me know in the feed back please.
