Audio Systems: Speaker replacement, nissan maxima, blown speakers

1997 Nissan Maxima

Trying to replace the 2 ("blown") speakers in the panel behind the rear seat. I can't remove them from the trunk (though I see them and they're obviously screwd-in from above) and the grills won't easily pop-off from the inside. SO...How do I get the entire panel off to access the speakers? It looks like I have to remove the entire back of the seat?

Remove seat cushion, this is either held in place by a couple of clips on the front edge and just needs a good tug upwards or a couple of screws into the kick panel below the seat.
You will then see the fixings for the seat back, again a  bolt either side at the bottom, you can then lift the back out of its retainers and remove the back panel.
Then check for fixings on the front edge of the parcel shelf that were hidden by the seat back, remove any and then you can lift and slide foward the parcel shelf and expose your speakers.
Change speakers and reassemble in the reverse order.
