Audio Systems: Radio Display, pontiac grand prix, fm modulator

Question
Hi-

I have a factory Delco deck in my 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix. I was trying to remove the deck to install a remote turn on wire for my amplifier that I was trying to install. When I re installed the radio, the left side of the display was blank. It looked like a lightbulb had burnt out. It is a LCD, so I don't think it has bulbs. I read online about some possible solutions to problems like this, and determined that it could be a bad soldering job or some crossed wires inside the unit. I took it out once again and opened it up for a closer look. Everything was attached and no wires were crossed. When I put the unit back in again, the whole display was blank. The radio still works, the CD player works, and selected buttons on the deck work as well (EQ button, POWER button). Nothing can be seen on the screen. I have some steering wheel controls that I can use to change the station on the deck and the track on the CD's, and the controls for the volume on the steering wheel still work as well. I have tried wiggling some wire around and checking fuses with no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Zach
