Audio Systems: power to car stereo, pioneer mp3 player, fuse boxes

Question
Hi, my problem is that, yesterday my pioneer mp3 player in the dash of my car just lost power and will not turn on no matter if the car is on or what position the key is in in the ignition. I tried uninstalling it and hooking up the old factory radio but still no power. so I know it is not a problem with the stereo itself but somewhere in the wiring of the dash......any advice you could give would be appriciated. thank you.

Answer
Usually this will be caused by a blown fuse.  Look in your car's manual if you dont know where it is.
Most fuse boxes have lables showing what each fuse is for.  Pull the one for radio and if there isnt one you will just have to pull them all and inspect that the metal piece inside is in tact.  make sure you get them back in the same place.

If that's not it let me know.
Good luck!
