Audio Systems: FM RADIO, mitsubishi eclipse, dash system

Hello well i installed a system in my trunk or a 2000 mitsubishi eclipse not long ago and now when i have the system on in the car and i try to listen to the radio it doesnt come in very well and when the systems off it comes in fine do you have any idea what the problem is?

Could you explain it in a little more detail? I am having a hard time understanding what the problem is.

Be sure and give me the make and model of the system you installed in the Eclipse.

Is the FM radio part of the in-dash system or the trunk mounted system?
