Audio Systems: Almost-dead radio in Chrylser Sebring convertible, chrysler sebring lxi, 2001 chrysler sebring lxi

I wonder if you've heard of this.  My 2001 Chrysler Sebring LXi convertible enjoyed a rain shower with its top down (dumb, I know), and now the Infinity radio/CD player won't power up EXCEPT for the illuminated lights on its equalizer slider switches -- they just blink about once a second.  The 20A fuse for the radio looks okay, but the thing just won't come on.  The 4-disk CD changer seems to be fine (it lights up and accepts and ejects CDs).  Any ideas or suggestions, besides the obvious -- put the top up?  Thanks!

Let it dry out. If rain water got inside it could take several days for it to dry out.  Do not turn it on for any length of time; only to see if it is working, then turn it off immediately.

I have seen units that took one week in warm, dry weather to dry out sufficient to come back to life.

Let me know if that does not solve the problem.
