Audio Systems: Second Car Battery?, heavy duty battery, undercar neon kit

Hey.
In my car i have interior neons, cd player,2 amped up 7x10" speakers, 2 6" speakers, 2 4" speakers, in car tv, ps2, and am planning on installing a 15" subwoofer and an undercar neon kit.
Would you recommend installing a second car battery to take some of the load as i have a fair bit of equpiment in the vehicle, or are the power loads of these items to low to seriously drain the power?

Yes, you need either another battery or a heavy duty battery that can handle the load.

But, more importantly, you will probably need a heavy duty alternator to keep up with the charging requirements.

A car installer type shop can give you a better idea - after seeing the car and the equipment, but if it were my car I would have a big honking alternator that is about twice the capacity of the factory unit.

There are many show-car installers in every big city that have intimate experience with these push up models.  They can give you some hands-on experience;  let them give you a second opinion.
