Hi Kevin.

I have a Philips 4 head Vcr, model #VRB411AT21.

The tape will not eject.

I can record and play .

Any Suggesttions?

Dear Ron,

Generally tape eject is handled by a rubber "band" located at or near the bottom of the unit. It has either stretched out of shape so it no longer functions or has become disengaged. If you can locate it, and it's unseated, and you can intuit the correct seating, try and reconnect it. However, if it's in place, then it's probably stretched out of usefulness and needs replacing.

Any TV fixit shop can replace the belt at nominal cost.
