i am going to try and put in a new cd player in my 97 buick park ave but i dont know which wires are which that are in my car if you can help please email me at allencastle@hotmail.com thanks allen

Buick is a GM product so you can probably use the information form the site below.

At the bottom of the site there is a wiring diagram for a standard 95 GM radio. And it references Park Ave at the top of the diagram. Take this as a kind of starting out point and use a test light to make sure that the power is in fact power and so on.

Beware that if you connect something to something it shouldn't you could damage your vehicle or your radio. Or yourself.

You could pickup a Haynes manual that would have that information for sure. Or go to your local library that stocks Chilton or Haynes manuals.
