Audio Systems: Car Stereo+iPod, acura tl, stock stereo

Is there any way to wire an ipod into my car stereo other than the available FM transmitter or Cassette adapter?  I own an '03 Acura TL-S with stock stereo.

I've seen a reference to a Line in cable. How does this work?

Can't really help you on this one. I went the full deal and installed a pc into my vehicle a few years back, then I backed off to an MP3 capable cd/cd-r/cd-rw/fm/am headunit for about 135.00.

If your headunit HAS a line in function, it is simply a matter of adapting the ipod output to the headunits RCA or DIN jacks.
Line refers to a pre-amp signal that is not loud enough to hear through the speakers but IS perfect for sending to a poweramp {or in some cases the headunits' poweramps} for amplification.
