I am not able to get the dual source output to work, bought unit new two years ago and decided to try and hook it up, I have followed directions

This model is out of production. I checked the user manual for its current analog, the AVR-1906, on Denon's web site, and could not even find the term "dual", much less "dual source". Since my job is generally to make sense of what I *can* find, I suggest you go to Denon's customer service portal on their web site (http://www.usa.denon.com/ and click on "Owners"), and see if they can help you. Alternatively, I've found dealers, where you bought the unit, to be helpful in setting things up when asked nicely.
