Audio Systems: 1991 Buick Antenna, power antenna, fuse box

Question
Cody,
So I was havin a problem with my antenna a few months ago(1991 Buick Century). The motor wouldn't stop running. I pulled the fuse and all, but couldn't stand that, so finally figured out which cables powered the antenna and cut them. In the process of figuring out what powered the antenna motor, my roommate unplugged the antenna from the car. Now, there is a black cable down under the fuse box coming out by the passenger door. I spent about 30 minutes with my feet above my head trying to figure out where the heck to plug it back in but couldnt find it. I want my radio back. You have any advice?

-Jon

Answer
Jon ,

this sounds like your antenna coaxal which should plug into the back of your radio... i quick fix to take care of your antenna is buy a small relay, and power it from the battery and a fresh ground then use the 12v ignition wire on your fuse box as the turn on for the power antenna ... hope this helps you out

thanks
