Audio Systems: Car Stereo Compatability, kenwood changer, kenwood krc

Question
I have a Kenwood KRC-403 stereo in my car that I hooked up to a Clarion RDC634 6-disk changer. The stereo works fine, but there is no power to the CD changer. The cable fits fine into both gadgets. Any ideas?

sure the cable plugs in fine, but it probably is wired differently. you shouldn't mix brands because of wiring differences. just because the plugs look the same does not mean they are configured the same way. a kenwood changer would have plugged right in...
