Audio Systems: am rf section, c101, delco

Question
Tom i have a 1978 delco am/fm stereo .the fm plays
real well,,Problem is on am side, i have to place my finger on what appears to be the rf or if trim
cap (on the board to bring in the am like it should.. local/dis switch on fm appears to work .
the board appears to have only 1 ic chip can you help me find a scat iv'e.exhausted all ends. thank you    dave..    audiovox gm78mxdh ...

Please give me the complete model number of the 78 Delco stereo. I can look over the service info for clues to the cause of the weak AM reception. Also along with the model number give the location of the parts in question. IC1, C101, D5 etc!
