Audio Systems: Replacing factory install stereo, factory stereo, model vehicle

I have a 2001 explorer sport, it has the factory stereo installed and I am having problems removing the panel around it .....can you help?

The trim may snap/pull away from the dash, however some will be held in place with several screws. I don't have a repair book for this make and model vehicle so I can't tell you for sure how to remove the trim, you may want to contact your local dealer an ask the service shop how to take off the trim.
