Audio Systems: Clifford Cyber 2 Security System for Jeep, internal battery, battery cable

Question
Greetings!  I have had a Clifford Cyber 2 car alarm for about 1.5 years.  It worked beautifully at first, but began tripping itself.  Now I have noticed a pattern.  The alarm trips itself every 6 hours from the time of being armed.  Do you have an idea what could be the problem.  When I turn it off, the LED stays on indicating it is still armed by the sirens are not sounding. I have to hit my remote key again to turn off the whole system to end the LED flashing. And then I lock my cars manually.  I am frustrated.  Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

Answer
Barb,
On some security systems they have an internal battery that operates the alarm if the main battery cable is cut. The problem may be that the internal battery is very low or dead. Have an authorized Clifford installer take a look at your alarm system.
