Audio Systems: Amplifier in Ford Taurus 2001, rubber gromet, ford taurus

Question
Hi,
I'm installing an aftermarket amplifier in my 2001 Ford Taurus, using the original radio/CD player. I'll put the amplifier in the trunk.
Can you tell me an easy way to get the electrical power wire from the battery/ motor compartment into the passenger compartment? I've been looking for places where I can enter the wire but cannot find one. Maybe you know an easy way to do this?
Thanks,
Yves

Answer
Yves,

the best way is to run the cable under the car's body using zip ties to secure it and a good wrap with black electric tape helps protect and keep it looking like factory wire.. run the cable under until you get to your trunk compartment then drill a hole slightly larger than your cable *use a rubber gromet on the hole to protect the wire* and slide in .. just make sure where you are drilling before you start so you dont interfer with anything .. hope this helps you out if you need anything else let me know

thanks
