Audio Systems: radio, factory radio, factory stereo

Question
hello,i have a factory radio in my 99 montana that the display is hard to read, and the numbers flash on and off,can i or can this be repaired or is it cheaper to replace with aftermarket radio, thanks.not sure of model number, have not removed yet,it has cd and eq. on it.

Answer
Kevin,
The problem with the display could be in the power supply for the display or the pins on the display itself have defective solder connections. A repair would be much less than replacing the factory stereo with an after market stereo. Please contact me direct for repair info.
