Audio Systems: speaker repair, toyota 4runner, exspensive

While removing a JBL T50 speaker from my 1990 Toyota 4runner (to refoam it) I broke off one of the speaker leads.  How can I fix it?

You can try to locate the braided flex wires at a speaker rebuild shop or you can salvage a good wire from a burned out speaker. I get burned out speakers from a car stereo shop that installs high power sound systems. all do is to clip off the flex wires to replace a broken wire on an exspensive speaker.
