Audio Systems: power antannae, power wires, rear portion

I need help in replacing my power antannae in a 1989 corvette, I cant seem to see how to do it. Any instructions would be very helpful

There are several types of antennas on the 89 vettes. The antenna that is mounted in the rear portion of your vette can be a little tricky to remove. On some units they have a nut that holds the top portion into the fender. To release this nut you will need sone type of spanner wrench. I always put several layers of masking tape around the antenna on the fender just incase the tool slips off the nut! To get to the bottom part you will need to lay on the ground and look up into the bottom of the fender to undo a couple of screws. The antenna should unplug from the coax and the power wires.
