Audio Systems: Moving a radio from one car to another, 1990 ford festiva, ford festiva

I have a radio from a 2000 Kia Sportage that I'd like to install in a 1990 Ford Festiva.  The radio fits the slot in the dash ok, but the wring harness is totally different.  Any suggestions for hooking it up?

Hello Michael,
Two easy steps to take to do this safely. 1-order/purchase a harness adapter for the Ford connector. this adapter has a jack that the factory plug fits into and the other end has pig tail wires. 2-if the Kia radio has a wiring harness simply connect then in the proper sequence and your in business. if you do not have the wiring harness for the Kia radio your may be able to pick up one from a Kia dealer or you will have to cut one out of a vehicle from a salvage yard.
