QUESTION: I am getting P0455 and P0441. I erase and after a day they come back.  How can I troubleshoot

This is for EVAP system and needs to be diag . with VAS or audi scan tool. VAS system has "basic setting" which can run the test for Evap. Or,(if you do not have scann tool) you can try to replace Evap solenoid, clear the fault and see if it helps. Evap solenoid is on one of the 3 fuel lines coming to the engine bay on the right side. 2 lines goes to the fuel rail and 1 to selenoid/electric valve with 2 pin connector. Replace this and see.

yes, VAG is OK .  after you replace that solenoid , run basic settings - test 070 and than 071. In both of them has to show SYSTEM OK. If it comes back with SYSTEM N OK - means you still have the problem.
What I find out in last 2 days is that Audi (in US and Canada) is recalling back 2001 -2004 A6 model for this problem . On some of them small nipple brakes and set the same faults. audi is reinforcing them or if it's broken the whole gas tank has to be replace. recall is called JY. Maybe your car has the same thing.
