Audi Repair: ignition switch, electrical portion, car wont start

Question
hi, I wrote you before regarding my ignition switch in my audi a4 1999, well I dint buy a new switch I just fixed and it work ok for at least five weeks and yesterday boom again, I had no lights, no whipper, no horn, no a/c and no turnlights, today I tried to fixed like last time and it work but when I turn on the car it shuts off in the next 3 seconds, I check it again and it looks like the lid of the ignition switch its burn (I don't know how is it called), so now my car wont start, and still I can make anything work (lights, etc), my main concern is I don't know what it maybe and last time I took it to the shop it was too expensive just had it check, if you can please tell me what it can be and the name of the lid that attaches the ignition switch, I try to look it up and it says "Electrical Portion 8 Male Pin Electrical Connectors. *Black Housing", do you think it might be just this?  thank you!!!!

Answer
If the engine keeps running, then this problem also could be the load reduction relay.  The switch is indeed the electrical portion of the ignition lock, so that will be the only part that needs replacing if it is bad.  I would check the load reduction relay first, then the ignition switch.
