QUESTION: I checked the spark plug wires, and when the engine cranks, there is no spark. There is no spark at the coil with the wire off. I just wanted to know how to get to the coil and module because I can't get to them to take them off.Is there any way you can send me a diagram of their location? Thanks

Answer
Bill, I do not have a diagram to send you. According to my information this vehicle should not have a distributor and have what is called a DIS ignition system. The DIS system consists of 2 or 3 separate ignition coils, an ignition module, a crankshaft sensor, a network of wiring and the electronic spark timing circuit. Depending on which engine you have will dictate the DIS ignition pack location. I believe the 4 cylinder pack is located toward the rear of the motor, while the 6 cylinder pack is in the front. If you have already found one of the coils, then the module is located underneath it. The second link I sent you in my first response has details on how to disassemble the pack and get to the module. Hope this helps. Don.
