My blower will not shut off even when key is out of egnition on the auto climate control

Very common problem. There are two styles used. Some use a resistor block located under the hood on the passenger side that is non serviceable and not offered anymore. This style has many different wires attached to it, with one wire leading to the blower motor.

The other style is where the blower speeds are controlled by the BCM (Body control module-computer). In this style BCM need to be replaced.

If equipped with the first version, there is a way to circumvent the resistor block, but you will only have high and off for blower control.

This was one of Cadillacs notorious issues which I have dealt with since the late 80s.
