Oil light stays on after car is warm with correct oil level and new op switch could it be the pump?

My concern would be that the oil light is on because at that time you are down to 4 psi and catastrophic engine failure is imminent.
Yes, it could be an oil pump.  It could be cam bearings, rod bearings, main bearings.

Cold you engine oil is thicker. Warm, you could have the above listed problems.
You could start with the oil pump and hope for the best.
You may consider pedalling the car. If so go to your local GM dealer and buy a can of EOS. Put that in and see if the light goes out warm. Then dump the car. Might seem like a great car, but Cadillac engines are money pits.
