Cadillac Repair: 1994 DeVille Concourse crankshaft sensors, diagnostic code, crankshaft

Where are the crankshaft sensors physically located.  I keep getting a P083 diagnostic code fault and the car is hard to start and likes to surge when idling.  I have the 32 valve northstar 4.6 engine.  Thank you for any help.
