Cadillac Repair: my 2000 sts, cadillac dealership, radio facility

Question
I went to a store 2 get a CD player put in my sts and they worked on it for 3 hours and only one speaker worked and they said they had to run a access wire but that one speaker was the only one still working and then i told them i had a factory amp and they tried to hook up the cd player to it without the bypass system and they messed it up so now my speedometer,my rpm gauage and my turn signals dont work now but my headlights and hazard lights still work can you help me with that cause I don't want to get any tickets for that

Answer
You cannot install aftermarket components into these electronic systems as the original radio works on 3 seperate voltages, 5, 12 and 16 volts and now they have most likely blown some computer modules, possibly damaged the speedometer cluster and who knows what else until a lengthy diagnostics is performed.

I would tell this radio facility that you are taking your vehicle into a Cadillac dealership and they are paying the bill.

For me to try and help you with this MESS, I would need to personally perform the test procedures.
