Cadillac Repair: CHECK FUEL SYSTEM LIGHT, NO START, fuel pump relay, check fuel

My Battery was dead on a 96 sedan deville after sitting for 3 days. The theft light was on and the car would not start. Got another key and changed the battery, car cranked and started, but theft system light came on. I replaced the fuel pump relay hoping that would solve the problem, but no.
The fuel pump runs at ignition cycle. Just wondering what my worse case would be.
