QUESTION: yes its been on since I brought the and I took it to goodyear and they said I need two new o2 sensors. but would that cause it to hesitate

ANSWER: Replace the oxygen sensors. Then check the spark plugs to make sure that they are not discolored with a blackish color on the bottom of the plugs. If they are, Clean or replace them.

The oxygen sensors determine how much oxygen vs gas vapors that are in the exhaust system and send signals to the computer which determines how much fuel to deliver to the engine and if the oxygen sensors are NOT working the engine will not get enough fuel, Thus a hesitation.

Once you replace the oxygen sensors, You have to CLEAR (erase) the codes from the computer via the climate control panel.

Disconnecting the battery will NOT erase the codes.
