Cadillac Repair: 94 STS diag codes, word history, climate control

I am trying to read the codes from the puter on my 94 sts, according to the book, to read the codes I ground pin "b" on the dlc, ther is no connector in slot "b" of my dlc..any help

NO-NO-NO.

1. Turn ignition switch ON. Engine NOT running.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER (^) buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. Diagnostic codes will appear and along with EACH CODE the word HISTORY or CURRENT will appear.

4. After the codes stop displaying you will see PCM?

5. Turn OFF ignition and let me know what codes you get.
